In our fractional reserve banking system, where money creation is debt based (read: money created out of thin air by the private banks) and the private Federal Reserve prints trillions of our fiat money through QE (which we pay interest on), the banks don't need our measly savings to invest in the markets. The "market" is their playground and it's rigged - plain and simple.

If the 'common man' truly understood how our money/banking system really works, there would be a revolution tomorrow.
