RE: One big difference

Funny you mentioned China Manufacturing. I was a plant manager for a major Automotive supplier. We would get components from China (and India) in cardboard trays. We would find newspapers, candy wrappers, etc. PLUS, we would find CHILD SIZE work gloves.

Our manufacturing vice president was sent over to one of our joint venture plants in India to straighten things out. Here in the US all of our hazardous materials, chemicals were disposed of by outside companies that used EPA approved processes. Our guy who went to India sent back pictures where YEARS worth of chemical, hazardous waste sat in large barrels in the field behind the plant. Amazing
