After all, presumably you read advertisements for audio gear from time to time, and perhaps reviews in other publications, or on the internet. And you do the best to remain objective in spite of this.
No, I believe that most readers will see Mr. Hansen's intemperate, petulant, rants for what they are, some valid points, wrapped in personal financial considerations, and framed by someone with no filter or decorum.
And, in future, there is no reason for the magazine to review any more Ayre products. There are too many manufacturers that make fine products and take a more measured approach to their interface with the community. You really should not waste any more time with Mr. Hansen and Ayre, IMHO.
