Opinion on DIY Interconnects?
Posted by B on June 13, 2000 at 11:31:11:
All,
I just finished building my ChrisVH Cat5 speaker cables. Very VERY significant difference over my Tributaries 12 Ga. OFC. Excellent! It sounds as if I have removed the cardboard box that was on top of my speakers. Amazing detail, and lots more bass now!!! I have burned them in for about 100+ hrs. and definitely they best anything that I have heard personally.
OK, enough about that. Build them, and you'll see. I need to know if anyone has any opinions or has done any comparisons between the myriad DIY Interconnect recipes out there.
I am going that route next, and I was wondering which is best. They all look to be about the same difficulty level to build, and I was wondering, as a DIY newbie, which one should I build?
My system is not great, but if it helps you give me advice, I have:
Denon AVR-2500
Pioneer ElitE PD-65
KEF Q-15's
M&K MX-70BThanks,
B
