i can't tell you from direct experience with the HotBox, but i did the Auricap 600V .45uF tweak on the output of a PS Audio Ultimate outlet and vastly improved the line and did NOT constrict dynamics in a anyway i've noticed....
The Auricap tweak is awesome and should work wonders for any setup....
