Re: Mercury Filled Speaker Cables

Posted by Some Guy on June 7, 2002 at 05:06:25:

By some miracle of modern utility, I had all of the ingredients for your mercury filled cable recipe (a much delayed nuclear weapon project that I was working on to handle the gopher problem I've been having in my garden of late) and have to say that this isn't too bad!

The only things you might want to include in your list are:

A ladder... makes getting onto the roof much easier.

A roof... helps to have not blown it off with your attempts to reproduce certain infamous nikolai tesla experiments related to fundamental resonance of building structures.

Beyond that, though, the recipe is great. lots of pluck on (guitar) strings. I've also found it makes distortion sound much, much better! And i can't describe in words how good the latest Celine Dion sounds with these. Almost as good as spinal tap!
