Listening to Nordost Red Dawn XLR Interconnect ... ....

I replace my Gutwire Chime with Red Dawn, and it's more clear, but a bit too hifi and also a bit bright. But it's more open than Chime. However, for vocal, I still feel Chime is more natural.
Now, I am wondering if SPM Ref. will outpeform Chime. Any SPM Ref or Chime users here?? Pls share your experience.
My gears are as follows:
CD: Cary 306/200 (with Powersnake Python)
Pre: Ayre K3x (with Gutwire Power Clef, but plan to move to NBS Omega II)
Pow: Bryston 4B ST PRO (with DIY Belden)
Interconnects:
Red Dawn (CD->Pre)
HT Magic (Pre->Pow)
Speaker Cable:
JPS Superconductor+ (Single)
Jumper:
Audio Note AN-SPx
Stand:
Foundation Designer II
NB All gears are plugged directly into wall sockets.
Moreover, how abt putting the Magic to cd->pre, and buy AZ Matrix ref. in pre->pow?? Or keep using Magic in pre->pow, and buy AZ-Silver Ref in cd->pre??
Pls share your comment. I really need each help.
