RE: 12 gauge IEC power cord

Posted by Chris K. on February 1, 2023 at 19:35:06:

Mike, obviously so much depends on system synergy, but numerous options abound. I have a Wireworld Electra 7 which is a more accurate cable, though not quite as strong in the bass as some others. The WW Electra 5.2 is a bit warmer, but less transparent. Both use OCC copper. I also have two Furutech FP-S032N DIY cables which are OFC, but use a gold liquid coating treatment to fill in the gaps. They are warm in nature, but the one I use Neotech connectors on is a bit bolder. I have used a Gutwire B12 previously which is a bit plumper/warmer sounding cable. I don't have experience with Cardas power cables, but they offer an array and the Iridium uses two 11.5 gauge conductors per their website. They're manufactured in Oregon.
