Interesting post about the 4tc as I've taken that journey as well as came across unclestu52. They have their sonic differences but it depends on the application at the end of the day for me.

The speaker cables were made with 4tc, one with white/yellow and a second where it was wound around an AQ midnight. In the latter configuration, the cable did have a different character from when it was tightly wound.









As for interconnects, I have both the tonic and the timbre, albeit with the eichmann and they also sound different.





Now, the interesting cable is the older silver streak which uses the black wire as the negative leg. I still use and prefer the KS1010/1011 interconnects but wouldn't hesitate to use the others if the need arose.
