keeping heavy power cables connected...
Posted by dean_martin on February 24, 2021 at 10:36:46:
I have a PS Audio Power Punch cable that I was using with an Arcam cd/dvd player and before that a Jolida cd player (both have IEC socket). The power cable started slipping/loosening from the back of the unit. I've replaced it with a lighter stock power cable, but I'd like to put the large/heavy cable back into use. I use a power strip for sources which sits on the floor. The cd/dvd player is on a shelf about 3ft above floor. Is there a simple fix to keep heavy cables from disconnecting, loosening or moving under its own weight?
