for the BlueTellurium Q is a British firm that has won HIFI Choice cable of the year for 2011. Blue is there entry cable at $180 for 3 meter. Then comes balck at $430, Ultrablack at $2300 and Graphite at $4200. My system has Maggie 3.6r speakers driven by a VTL ST-85 amp. I have heard many cables including MIT 330, Goetz Alpha Core silver, Nordost SPM and my current favorite MIT AVVT2.
The Blue is quite special. It excels in the following areas.
1) Huge amounts of resolution
2) Wide and deep soundstage
3) Clearly seperates complex musical passages. It is really special in this ability
4) very accurate portrayel of musical timber
5) Great micro and macro dynamics
6) Low colorization resulting in a very accurate representation of the source. I arrived at this conclusion listening to music I recorded when I was a recording engineer
Some reviews have mentioned that this cable is slightly rolled off at the top end. Once in a great while I felt this way but then put on another disc and there was tons of high frequency information. If you are used to cables that tilt up the top end you will now and then think that this cable is rolled off but I think it is simply very accurate.
This cable will stay in my system because it is really special at any price.
