basslines, are the Cardas SRCA in the "base metal or brass plugs with a gold flash" category (sorry, I'm a newbie)? I'd considered the Eichmanns (same price as the Cardas), but my cable is 9.4 mm OD, and the Eichmanns accomdate only 9 mm (the Cardas accomdates 9.5 mm). WBT does make a plug that fits my cable -- the Topliine 0150 -- but at $35 per plug it's 3.5X as much as the Cardas and Eichmann (and, with 5 pairs to terminate, outside my budget). Or to put this all more simply: other than the Johnson, the Cardas SRCA is the only plug I've found that will fit both my cable and my budget (~$10/plug). Is the SRCA a good plug sonically, or should I keep looking?
