I have balanced Mogami 2549 between the Juli@ soundcard and Django passive preamp. They are there temporarily while I try to find something better for less than $500.
They're not bad, lots of 3D goodness like you said, nice bottom end, but more veiled in the highs than I like. Better than the Radio Shack or Monster stuff, though, for sure.
