Do better coax cables make a big difference?

I recently bought a modded DAC from China that is unbelievable. It's easily better than my Music Hall 25 CDP which I'm now using as a trasnport. Even my wife noticed a big difference amd it's still breaking in. It sounds great using the OEM cable provided with the unit - a real cheapie. Do I need to upgrade? If so, recommendations?
