Long run turntable cable

Folks:
I have decided to get back into vinyl (still have about 300 LPs 8^) but the only place I have to set up a turntable is across the room from the AV rack. Going around t he edge of the room, I'm looking at about a 30-foot run from my phono preamp to my pre-pro. I am not a high-end cable fan but I don't want to sabotage my signal either... Suggestions please.
