for the Flavor 4

I have posted a more complete review within the Cables category. Rather than repeat everything from that post, let me highlight:

Great Service: A total of 5 power cords (3 Fl-4s and 2 Fl-1s) covering three different lengths shipped in 24 hours.

Your Money Goes to Product: No fancy packaging or expensive containers. Just high quality cords safely packaged and shipped.

Flavor 4 Results: INCREDIBLE! I have a high resolution system using Avantgarde Duos but have had a problem with some bass 'bloom' around the crossover from the subs. I thought it had to be room related but I decided to change the cheap stock cords to the 200w sub amps as a test. I know you are supposed to burn these in for 100 hours, but within minutes of plugging them in I was wondering what had happened. The bass bloom was GONE! And now that they have broken in, the results are even better. Improved bass extension and coherence, much clearer deliniation of bass notes (that's a string bass not an electric bass!) and far greater dynamics.

I have never been a power cord convert, but I am now!

One final note: Chris is great to deal with. He answers emails quickly and thoughtfully. Somehow, your confidence in the quality of a product strengthens when you sense that the quality of the person running the business is top notch. Highly recommended!

Product Weakness: None Yet
Product Strengths: Good quality construction and it does its job. As noted above, it does what I never thought 'just' a power cord could do!

Associated Equipment for this Review:
Amplifier: AudioPax KT88 SET monos (30w)
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): BAT VK-30SE
Sources (CDP/Turntable): Parasound (CET) Transport and DAC
Speakers: Avantgarde Duos
Cables/Interconnects: Stage III silver
Music Used (Genre/Selections): All types
Room Size (LxWxH): 19 x 20 x 8.5
Room Comments/Treatments: Heavy insulation in walls / ceiling. Double sheetrocked walls with different thicknesses to reduce resonance. Beveled corners to minimize standing waves. (Gotta do something to fight the almost square room!)
Time Period/Length of Audition: Less than 1 week, but cables broken in now for well over 100 hours.
Type of Audition/Review: Product Owner
