Sunfire Reference amp

I recently bought some MMGs and have been using a Parasound HCA800II with them. I have been comtemplating various amps including Odyssey, B&K, Aragon, but haven't been able to pull the trigger yet.
My local Ultimate Electronics store is closing out their Sunfire Symphonic Reference amp for $900; it has 250wpc into 8 ohms and 500wpc into 4 ohms. Is this a good value compared to the Odyssey Stratos and how would it sound with MMGs? I have purchased a Foreplay preamp but am not done putting it together yet.
