I do not mean to be bashing here but I have found that Pass designs do not always work as the circuit description implies. Nelson claims one thing but opening the unit and measuring the operation parameters says it works another. Maybe all the ones I tested were defective but based on my findings, the sound varied a lot from unit to unit.
