Amen to that, and the Schiit Kara also. The other, inferior Schiit preamp is in the S-phile Class A category. I have the Kara and, well, it just lacks nothing for this guy that's had $10K tube preamps. (But then I don't go for the artificial 'bloom' thing anymore either.)
