If you want to save some money, you might check out PS Audio's S300 Amplifier. If you scroll down the webpage you will see some comments by reviewers.

I just bought one of these and I think it sounds very good. Moreover, if you have anything to trade in, you can save a lot of money. PS Audio will credit you with the retail price of any audio component you trade in. I traded in a Grado headphone amplifier I bought in 1991 for $600 and they gave me a trade-in value of $600.

Anyway, it's just a thought!
