Audio Research LS27 vs. LS28

I was wondering if the LS28 represents a dramatic improvement over the LS27. I'd like to hear only from people who have owned or heard both. Thank you, but I'm not looking for other preamp suggestions. Associated equipment: Harbeth 30.2, ARC REF75SE, ARC CD6, REL S/5 SHO (pair).
