Aragon 4004 MKii issue

I own an Aragon 4004 MK II that has been modified and is now in 2 separate chassis. One of the amps has a distortion making the speaker sound blown. It is worse when the amp is cold. I have noticed that the amp that functions well heats up, the heat sinks get fairly warm. The amp that sounds distorted is dead cold, even after being used. Could there be a biasing issue or an adjustment causing the issue?
