Paul at Goodwin's High End pre-installed the NOS Mullards and set the phono gain and loading for my DV20X2L (I told him what settings had worked best during my home audition). He even tested it all out while I was on the way over.

It was a bit "tight" sounding for the first couple of hours, but already sounds lovely after about 6 hours. And you are right about the NOS Mullards. Bass is strong, deep and a lot tighter than the demo I auditioned with the JJs. Less lushness, more transparency, but still just a touch of bloom. Just great!

And it's a beautiful layout inside. Clean and logical. I've not opened the new one but had the demo open to play with the loading options. Almost wish they offered an acrylic display top!
