You might consider a DIY Aleph Mini. ~10 w/channel class A single-ended SS amp, designed by Nelson Pass. You'll have to build it yourself, pay someone to build it for you, or find someone selling one that they built and are now moving on to build something else.

That parts cost less than about $250~$350 depending on the chassis you choose.
