The Pass Labs Aleph 3 amp is the last word on full on commercial and complete class A amplifier topology when it comes to solid state/transistor application. Yes it runs HOT, and I mean HOT, but that is just one drawback of full class A amplifer topology.

However, even as good as the Aleph 3 is musically, it cannot even approach a good PTP wired tube amp such as one of the vintage EICO
units with upgraded PS caps...
