Bias adjustment in Eico 20 mono amplifiers

My friend who has an Eico 20 mono amplifiers is wondering how bias is adjusted in his Eico 20 mono amplifiers. Is it auto- or manually biased? Should he readjust the bias when he changes the 5U4G rectifiers?
