I find your comment interesting about the ICE-based Jeff Rowland 201 having better bass than the PS Audio GCC-250. I don't doubt you. I had the Bel Canto M300 ICE-based monoblocks and thought the bass was poorly defined to almost muddy. An audiophile friend of mine who had another brand ICE-based amp had similar comments about less than stellar bass. I guess the implementation details make a big difference with these modules and most seem to fall short of excellent.
