Forgot to mention, if you do go with the Quicksilver.......

...and you leave your Stratos on all the time as Klaus recommends, you must, MUST have the mute button on the Quicksilver preamp DEPRESSED when you power it up, as she will sputter some nasty little DC pulses until the power supply stabilizes, which is about 60 seconds. Once it's been powered up a minute or so, completely safe. But that IS a factor to consider.
