Only records shop of note is Monster Music on Orleans Road. South of town, just off of Hgwy 17/ Savannah Highway across from Citadel Mall. This will make sense to you when you are in Charleston. Large selection of new and used. They are sponsoring a record show on Sat 9/24. Dealers from all over the SE.

Also the Ladson Flea Market. Every weekend. Located North of Charleston, in Summerville. I26 north to College Park Road, follow the signs. There are 2-3 regular dealers with permanent stalls. Real action is the transient parking lot where you find day sellers.

Loco, Honest Johns etc don't have any records.

About 18mos ago, Charleston lost a great indie store... 52.5 on upper King. Owner's lease was not renewed due to gentrification and then the owner moved to Brooklyn.
