I think that's sound advice; and actually, after much deliberation, I've sold the Thorens this week. This has somewhat prompted me to clear out my collection of cartridges and other stuff to make way for another project (though not much of one): a trusty Linn Sondek LP12. I had one and sold it. It was a deck I knew I'd have to buy again some day. So, I'll listen to the Dual and enjoy for now (that is, until the Linn is fitted with a Hercules/MOSE, the right arm and tuned correctly).
Oh, and I did end-up with pics for the Thorens. I will always be very fond of that deck...one of the greats.
