With only 5 hours on the clock it's probably too soon to pass judgment, but the XX2 isn't the last word in the slam department quite yet. I'm a jazz fan, and I use Ray Brown's Soular Energy to judge bass. With the Maestro I get slam, with the XX2 I get the same or better depth, but not as much impact. Keep in mind, though, that I"m still tweeking set up and the suspension isn't fully loosened-up yet.
