than i thought it would be and a little noisier too.my buddy says i need to overhaul it and it should quiet down a lot more.
its a whisper 600 but i think i will still use the smoothing tank to house the airpump and keep it in under the kitchen sink and run the airline out through the wall and to the arm about 12' away.
i think this will make it like a dead whisper. ;)
also figured-out lastnight how to mount the arm to the floating platform and keep it square and rigid.
my buddy also brought me the niles 12 step autoformer attenuator.
also building a cool pair of enclosures for the telefunken speakers i scored.
also decided to use my old b&k amp to power the ht system dvc cerwin-vega 12" sub and use the technics 12-band eq for level control and xover point/slope.
and because im using just pro-logic and disimilar speakers wrt sensitivity im going to use my niles multi-speaker/amp volume control unit to set the gains correctly.
my wife and kid are leaving for 8 days starting the 18th so i will have some time to get these projects done. :)
