Excellent wood working as always, and I know how hard it is to get a finish right. The silicone based waxes can indeed cause all kinds of issues with repairs and restoration.

Hey tell me more about your bearing work. You cleaned everything, but what did you use for the ball?

The Technics project table you see here has well over 20 hours invested in paint removal, surfacing, priming, sanding, a 3 step paint (goes red to blue), clear coat cut down and final polishing.

Its a lot of work to get a world class finish on our toys!
