Some of those molding agents are put in to help the plastic flow properly.
In a past life I worked on some plastics projects trying to put covalent coatings onto PVC beads prior to injection molding. We found that the coatings tended to migrate after molding...i.e., plastic is not quite as static as you might think...even after molding. It would not surprise me to find things blooming to the surface...especially after a few decades.
