Your comparison to the Colibri is interesting. I too, think that the Colibri sounds like it is right on the edge -- exciting, yes, but perhaps not the cartridge for just getting "comfy" with the music. If the Ortofon is fast and detailed as well as musically relaxed, that is indeed a nice combination.
