I've used quite a few different ones and found Willis's protractor to be the easiest. While the Mint may be good, I really can't imagine being happier than I am with the Willis gauge.
I'd imagine that different eyes see those teensy weensy increments differently. Different gauges make it easy for one person, and perhaps not so for another.
The important thing is the easing of frustration!
There is no such thing as "too many records." There is only, "too little room."
