RE: I think the arguments against 12" tonearms are greatly exaggerated...

My personal feeling is that any cartridge that needs extra weight glued to the headshell is such a specialized, low compliance thing that it is probably best used on a dedicated high mass tonearm (e.g Ikeda or Fidelity Research 64S - 35 gm effective mass including headshell before adding the cartridge) rather than trying to use a universal arm.
