Very true, and it's because they have to be with the necessarily cramped geometry of the 9 inch pivotted arm.
I'm not sure I could nail a 9 vs 12 comparison every time, but in my system, with, say my 3012 vs a duplicate-series 3009, well ----
I'd say I could ID the twelve inch about 80 percent of the time.
And with a seamlessly integrated Linear Tracking arm ? C'mon. --- Versus 9 inch ??
The identification percentage would be even more accurate.
And an .800 average ain't bad for starters.
