The phono stage in my Anthem Pre1P, but

I've decided that's the first big change I wish to make within the next year. I've heard enough line stages to feel the Anthem is a fine line stage...but I've heard too much with other stand alone phono stages to keep using the Anthem's stage. Very good, not great. And I want to run to tables, I can do so with an external phono stage quite easily.

I want something that sounds like a combination of the Eastern Electric phono stage and the Dynavector P-75...or thereabouts.

Death quiet, detailed and warm.

Thanks for starting this thread, Jack. There is no "best" there is only "the best I've heard in my room with my equipment."

The world worked fine without computers. I don't think I did, but nothing I've seen determines that one way or the other.
