The Oracle Mk II pod has a plastic cover. The whole thing is like a pizza box if you could imagine. The flat "pancake" motor is actually mounted on the circuit board inside the housing instead of on the cover. from what I have gathered. Hence my question on how to mount the motor in the existing housing. May be I can rip everything out and do a custom job? Or, may be it is not doable? But someone posted years ago that it can be done... but the inmate didn't post the details.
