I have had a couple of records that I needed to do twice. If you think it is still noisy, do it again. I have steamed a lot of records in the last few weeks and have done no harm to any of them. I have a KAB EV-1 and the part you turn the records with pretty much covers the label. It only takes a minute. Tell me what you think. One great thing is that the records seem to stay clean. I had thought that some of the effect may be due to the elimination of static. Remedial thinking, I know. I have played steamed records many times and they still sound as good as they did right after they were cleaned.
