RE: Well, let's see...After passing a couple of kidney stones...

Hey Matt, a great post! Hopefully, you'll never have a kidney stone again, and keep drinking lots of fluids, all year long. I had a friend who had a kidney stone a few years back. He was told by his doctor to drink a glass of grape juice and a glass of red cranberry juice every day, along with fresh water. Since then, he's never had any more trouble with those dang 'stones', and it makes him feel good. The cranberry juice is very good for you, especially when you add crushed ice, ect.

I also am a fan of Supertramp, "Breakfast In America" is a great album!! I remember when it was #1 nationwide in the spring of 1979! Also "Crime Of The Century" (1974 A&M Records #SP-3467) and "Even In The Quietest Moments" (A&M Records #SP-4634) are MUST HAVES on vinyl! I also have and enjoy their live album "Paris" (A&M Records #SP-6702 2LP set) from 1980. Supertramp is a great band, with true musicians.

RCA Victor is an amzing label! I am never disappointed with anything I own on RCA. Either the old black label with Nipper the Dog, or their top-of-the-line "RED SEAL -- Living Stereo" series, all of their albums always sound beautiful, on vinyl, on my stereo.

Hey Matt, talk to you later. If you have that Bad Company album, make sure you get a copy of their classic 1974 debut album on Zep's "Swan Song" label. That's Catalog #SS-8410. I bought that album when it first came out, I was in high school at the time. Listen to the title cut, as well as "Seagull" on sideII. "Seagull" at max volume, time stands still for me whenever I play it. Paul Rodgers at his very best, what a song -- stunning lyrics 'Seagull you fly...into the misty morning air...' WOW!

FREE's "Fire and Water" is also a must have LP in your collection if you like the vocals from Paul Rodgers.

Peace, later Ed...
