Kuma, I think what he is trying to communicate is that the LP12 has certain musical qualities not always common to other, perhaps more clinical 'tables. He agrees that the LP12 has certain negative traits, but in order to minimize or eliminate those traits, it's perhaps more desirable to refine them out of the LP12 design(which Linn has) rather than transform it into something completely different.

I certainly understand Risabet reasoning.
