so if one bought an LP12 a long time ago and have upgraded it since, it's cheaper to make one more upgrade that rights a significant deficiency in the LP12's performance. So much so that IMO you'd have to pay a helluva lot more now, to better a CF- (or Keel-) subchassied LP12 than you would've a year ago, when all that was available was the stock steel subchassis.
And IMO all the "upgrades" which Linn have bought out - including the Keel - do not "transform" the LP12 ... they simply remove a deficiency.
