as a sweeping statement, bear in mind the release dates of these discs. This was *very early stereo -if that at all-, and *very early rock recording; typically on 4-track.'Animalization' on US MGM mono is quite clean; early, but OK.
The track 'We Got to Get Outta This Place' in semi-"stereo" is pretty dubious; even with the (mandatory mono switch) on the preamp engaged.
I'm becoming more and more convinced that the big 'M' has greater appeal on this early stuff; including Jazz, with it's obnoxious 'hard' stereo with no cross-bleed.
