The PL-15 and PL-15D II, its successor are identical except the latter has slightly better specs. To my knowledge there is no PL-150D II. Usually someone has misread the lettering. With the square font Pioneer used, it was common to misread a D as a zero. It was probably also a PL-15D II. Or maybe it's a PL-115D, which was the successor. If that is the case, then it's a better tonearm (IMO) and still better specs. All of these models were auto-return. And I agree with you--I prefer that feature, as well.
