Yep! With proper tube combinations (system dependent), I have the same impressions. I sold my Hagerman Trumpet and kept the Cornet II and never look back. I have to admit that my Cornet II have some tweaks on the internal parts but IMHO, it is for real. In my system, it is close to the phono section of the Supratek and in some music genre better than the it.regards
