I am probably preaching to the choir here but...Third party replacement styli are generally to be avoided at all costs if the original is available (as is the case with the AT).
I have found that generic styli for the AT line generally suck and the money "saved" by purchasing the generic is 100% wasted. The fine quality of the coils in the body of the AT 15 will be squandered if a generic stylus assembly is used (IME anyway).
Avoid at all costs the Phansteil part number 679-DE. It is Guano.
