A few years ago, an Inmate in Europe showed one that his friend made. It used a magnet to lift the tonearm, so it was similar in operation to the Empire lift. His friend's price to make one at that time was around $120US. It was a very elegant looking little accessory. Maybe he will catch your thread.Aside from that single DIY, I am not aware of any.
