Re: Wanted: hi-end turntable advice

I think I have my "final" turntable", a SOTA Cosmos IV Vacuum. This is why I think that is so:

I have owned about a dozen tables over the past 25 years. With each upgrade or change, things usually got better, sometimes a little bit in one or more areas, sometimes a lot better in a few areas. My previous table before the Cosmos was a Stabi Reference, and when I moved my arm and cartridge to the Cosmos, EVERYTHING got a LOT better. It was not just an incremental improvement.

You can certainly spend more money, but I suggest that SOTA makes tables that are competitive with some of the very best available today.
